NCAA

well i got a few package in this last week, one was 2 spaceguns and the other was my NCAA footballs and hello kitty tin. the NCAA footballs are so cool and i hope they continue to do more teams as i would like to have a buckeye football. the hello kitty tin reminds me of my childhood some, i use to like hello kitty and remember the metal lunch boxes from that time period. i didnt have the crystal hello kittys yet so the little package with them was a fun little addition. so that makes 11 new pez and 2 spaceguns, not bad for another week.

extras

i have lots of extra pez. this is a pic of all the loose extras i have. i have many more that are bagged or MOC (thats mint on card) if anyone is looking to fill gaps or start a new collection. MGM

here is a grouping of all my MGM characters. i would like to concentrate on getting more of this group. i especially like the multi piece faced ones, shows the complexity of pez.

package

i finally got my package today from germany. i bought the pez and they were paid for on the 28th of may. the boat sure is slow! anyway this package mostly contained MGM characters. they are so cool and not too bad for only 32 bucks shipped.

groupings

TMNT, no, i dont have all of the variations but im working on it. i pick them up when i come accross them but im not actively searching for them, i think it would make me crazy.

also in this set of pics are looney toones and warner brothers. i think my favoorite out of this lot has to be wile e coyote and roadrunner. i remember watching this cartoon with my dad. one of the few cartoons he would ever watch.

i guess one of the reasons i like pez so much is they remind me of my wonderful childhood.

package

got a package in the mail yesterday with all kinds of wonderful pez to add to my collection. there are 2 NF in the lot, wile e coyote and multi face tom. i was so excited to be adding another multi piece face MGM to my collection, they are some of my favorites. also included are a bunch of witches which includes the convention witch, my first 3 piece witch and some misfits. and last but not least, i finally got a full set of the new jungle book series along with a few from the older set. quite a wonderful pezzy filled day.

holiday

i decided to start doing group shots of my pez and tonight i took some pics of my holiday pez. christmas has always been my favorite time of year and so those pez are some of my favorites. this last year at pezamania i got an angel with loop. she is one of my prized possesions. she has removable eyes. while i was at home for pezamania in OH i stopped at a few antique stores and i was also able to pick up rudolph at a decent price. a couple months after pezamania i picked up a lot of pez on ebay. it was my first great buy on ebay. in it contained a hard shell NF chick in egg. it was quite a surprise when i learned that it had a steel pin and was worth more than what i paid for the entire auction of over 100 pez. the rest of the lot helped fill in some of my gaps and i got several extras for trade/selling purposes.

i took a few more pics today of my collection. funny how when u look at something for a pic u notice things u had not seen before. well i was pulling out my pez pals and noticed that my mexican has a double flower below the yugolslavia patent. quite an amazing surprise. that makes my purchase at 61 bucks even better. i am still looking for 2 earrings for him so if u have any or know anyone that has them pelase let me know. my poor mexican guy needs his bling, ya know?

for my pez

i will be using this blog to post updates on my PEZ collection. i will be posting pics so that i can keep track of what i have added to my collection over time. this is a start of what my collection looks like. when we were looking at houses i knew this was the one for us since it had a special place to display my PEZ. we have a duel staircase that leads to the 2nd floor and all along the wall is where my PEZ are hung. i like the looks on peoples faces when they see my collection for the first time. its ncie not to have them hidden away in a spare room that no one will see. its also great to walk past them everyday, it puts a smile on my face.
